The new Explore Studio leadership system came to life today. 🌱

I channeled my best Peter Mansbridge in hosting a leadership candidate debate. A learners did a better job grilling his peers than me though… 🎤

They even showed their own commercials for breaks in the event. Candidates discussed the new superpowers and challenges a bigger studio has brought and what their vision was for what the community needs. 🦸‍♀️ 

Afterwards they took part in ranked voting and cheered with excitement for the winners and official opposition. 🙌

Leaders take the reins tomorrow and the official opposition makes their first speech of accountability next Friday. 

All of the aspects of this leadership system came from these young people over the course of many critical discussions, real-world examples, and lessons from past ideas. 💡
